Right to Work, an important victory for workers?

 Dear Readers,

Today, I bring you an article quoting Joseph Ben-Ami, president of the Canadian Centre for Policy Studies verbatim and, as usual, my comments are below with space for your comments below that or you can simply email me at my hotmail below.I would encourage you to express your opinion as Right to Work is shaping up to be the BIG battle for 2013 and 2014!

Canadian Centre for Policy Studies

December 12, 2012
OTTAWA - The Canadian Centre for Policy Studies applauded the passage of bill C-377 by the House of Commons today calling it an "important victory for workers."

"Requiring unions to disclose how and where they spend members' dues is long overdue," said Joseph C. Ben-Ami, president of the Centre. "This is an important victory for workers."

"The public interest is also well-served by this bill," Ben-Ami continued. "Workers can still be forced to pay dues to a union in Canada even if they aren't members. That's a power no other non-government entity possesses. Because of this, unions - like politicians - have an added responsibility to the public, in addition to the responsibility they have to their members, to conduct their business with maximum transparency. It's a question of accountability."

"All-in-all this is a good bill and we look forward to its speedy passage by the Senate."

                            McGuinty..with your tax dollars!

my response.....

The unionsist snickered when I said change was coming but their
laughter stopped today with the passage of Bill C-377 to free
workers from forced unionization and break Big Labour's multi-billion dollar
political machine forever. The NDP and other Big Labour allies in the Senate are
now feverishly scheming to bury Right to Work without a vote. So I have a question
for you. Will you be the sledgehammer? Your call to your to your MP is what is
needed to bust through the opposition to Right to Work. This is an opportunity
you and I cannot afford to miss.

                            McGuinty...lying again?

As you may know, the right to decide freely whether or not to join a union was taken
away from workers by a Judge's ruling. A result of back-room deals between union
bosses and their tax-and-spend puppets, compulsory unionism provisions in federal
law currently empower union officials to fine you if you disagree with what union
bosses are doing! Bill C-377, a Right to Work bill strikes at the foundations of
the union bosses' power. And here's the thing -- Right to Work is wildly popular
with Canadian voters. In fact, for years polls have shown a majority of Canadians
think it should be against the law to force workers to pay money to union bosses
just to get or keep a job. All you and I have to do is support Right to Work ...
and Canadians will do the rest.

                               Yep, lied again!

Many New Democrats and more than a few Liberals who were elected with Big Labour's
over $1 billion in forced-dues political cash simply cower in fear of casting a
vote for the Right to Work Bill. But what will they do when faced by taxpayers?
It's a win-win situation -- Right to Work will free Canadian workers or these
folks will pay in 2014. It will be a marathon battle. But I will not flinch in
the face of opposition and insider attacks. I believe, with your help, this is a
fight we will win. And I feel it's a Bill worth fighting for. You see, the union
bosses fear Right to Work more than anything else. They know it's a losing
proposition for them. The fact is for decades union officials have schemed to
seize billions of dollars from their "members" and then used it to elect their
candidates to protect these privileges.

Proof that you can fool some the people all of the time!
This is how Ottawa and Queens Park, from Trudeau to Chretien to McGuinty got to
be where they are today. Right to Work will turn this entrenched, corrupt order
on its head. Every year, Big Labour siphons over $2 BILLION from workers'
paychecks; mostly from workers who, if they refused to pay, would be fired from
their jobs. Union bosses take this eye-popping heap of dough to feed a lifestyle
of limousines, penthouses and raw political power.

My friend, Big Labour's political corruption costs all of us!
