The crime of the century? Who did it?

Dear Readers,

In a departure for me, I am presenting a book review of the crime of the century...the cold-blooded murder of a beloved President by folks who should have known better! My full response is below and there is space provided below that for your comment but please keep your comments smart and civil. Don't attack other readers personally, and keep your language decent.

Interview with History: The JFK Assassination
Man Claims Responsibility for Death of President JFK

New Book Features Confessions of the Self-Proclaimed “Grassy Knoll Shooter”

When the assassination of President John F. Kennedy is brought up – even today, almost 50 years later – it still has the power to evoke incredible emotion. Most people who were alive on that day still remember exactly where they were when they heard the news, and Lee Harvey Oswald has become a household name, many still convinced he was to blame despite various conspiracy theories which indicate otherwise.

The name James E. Files is not a household name; most have never even heard it. But in 1994, James E. Files confessed on film that he was the gunman who fired the infamous head shot that killed JFK on
Nov. 22, 1963, from behind the picket fence on the grassy knoll in Dealey Plaza. Now he is divulging even more information in the new book Interview with History: The JFK Assassination. In the book, Files and author Pamela J. Ray explore the truth behind some very basic questions still lingering decades after that fateful autumn day: Why was President Kennedy killed? Who benefited? And who had the power to cover it all up?

Interview with History features Ray’s interviews with Files, conducted meticulously over the years through highly-monitored letters and transcribed phone calls from Stateville prison in Joliet, Ill., where Files is a prisoner for what he claims is an act of self-defense against an attempt on his life by the government. A former CIA and mob hit man, Files actually considers the JFK assassination one of the least important “jobs” he was asked to do in his lifetime, and he hopes that this book will forever put to rest the subject of his involvement.

“Facing incredible odds, danger and huge debt, it has been a labor of love, sacrifice and hardship to get this book to the people,” Ray writes. “Although over 6000 books have been written about the assassination,
Interview with History: The JFK Assassination is the only authorized published work based on the confession of the grassy knoll shooter, James E. Files.”

Interview with History also delves into other “related, shadowy, underworld subjects where it is hard to tell where organized crime stops and the CIA (and other U.S. government agencies) begin,” all based upon Files’ years of experience in the shadows. There is a section called “A Hit on the Mob – Operation Family Secrets,” and another called “Marilyn Monroe and the Kennedy Brothers,” which reveals what Files really thinks happened to the Hollywood starlet. Yet another looks at the dark side of the Vatican and how it ties into the JFK assassination.

“The book includes many photos and unique captions that will undoubtedly cause a controversy ‘back east,’” writes Ray. “This is a must see for researchers looking for a new road if they have been winding up on dead end streets.”

....a note from the killer?

James Files in May 2008 is quoted as saying "I was involved in The JFK Assassination, and the FBI has known about my involvement since 1964. It was the FBI that gave Joe West the information about me and my involvement in the Kennedy Assassination. Why they did this, I do not know. Joe West made contact with me and then come to visit me and we became friends over a period of time. However, Joe West died before his agenda was completed. Joe West developed heart problems, had surgery, was recovering and was doing very well. How ever, he died shortly there after. I was informed by a by a reliable source from back East., that Joe’s medication had been tampered with and I was assured that Joe West had been murdered in order for his court case to die, where he was doing all with—in his power to have John F. Kennedy’s body exhumed.

When Joe West informed me that he was already in court trying to get JFK’s body exhumed, I explained to Joe West that his body was not burned at
Arlington. I also explained to Joe West that he should enter new evidence in order to have a chance at getting the body exhumed. I explained to Joe West that the “Round that struck Kennedy in the head was a “Mercury Round” and that the trace of the “Mercury” would still be present, as Mercury takes forever to go away. So, there would still be a trace of mercury on the skull.

When Joe West died, I thought that the whole investigation would die with Joe’s Passing. However, this is where Robert Vernon enters the picture. Bob Vernon wants to complete Joe’s work to help his widow out. I did not intend to give an interview. It took Bob Vernon a couple of years to get me to agree to it. One of the biggest mistakes in my life that I have ever made. Had I not given this interview, I would have been a free man years ago. My first video, “Confession Of An Assassin,” released through “MPI” was to be my final interview.

I do not trust people to honor their word on anything at all. There is One man in The Free world that I trust and this man has always kept his word, for he is a man of much honor. He is also my longest living friend and knows more about me than any other living human being. His name is Bruce P. Brychek. This man has never, not one time has broken his word to me about anything.

I have no ill feelings about the people I have dealt with who failed to keep their word with me. I just know not to do business with them again. As a person, they are nice to sit and chat with. But if they make you a promise, forget about it, they’ll never keep it. Other than that, they are nice people.

I wish to thank Ms. Ray for her hard work and for her being loyal to me through out the long years of getting the books to market, which at times seemed like a never ending project. She has endured a great deal of injustice and has been ridiculed for her association with me. I thank Ms. Ray for her hard work, her loyalty and most of all her kindness and friendship and for believing in me. Thank You Ms. Ray....

                                   JFK...back and to the left!

my response......

Although I have been reviewing news sources for my readers for many years, this effort really began on November 22, 1963...the day that Americans lost their President...and the day, the 'big lie' was born. I will never forget the day I was walking to my locker while between grade 7 classes at Williamson Road Senior School in Toronto when word spread through the hall that the President had been shot. I didn't really follow many news stories back then but this tragedy caught my attention and as the Warren Commission played out, it was clear to me that Earl Warren's investigation was nothing more than a cover-up.

                                                      Arlen Spector

Junior Prosecutor, Arlen Specter presented the 'magic bullet' theory; an incredible explanation that future President Gerald Ford, among others bought; hook, line and sinker! A United States Senator from Pennsylvania. Specter was a Democrat from 1951 to 1965, then a Republican from 1965 until 2009, when he switched back to the Democratic Party and his theory maintained the 'magic bullet' entered the President's back, headed downward at an angle of 17 degrees, then moved upward in order to leave Kennedy's body from the front of his neck -- his neck wound number two -- where it waited 1.6 seconds, turned right and continued into Connally's body at the rear of his right armpit -- wound number three, then headed downward at an angle of 27 degrees, shattered Connally's fifth rib and exited from the right side of his chest -- wounds four and five, then continued downward and entered Connally's right wrist -- wound number six -- shattered the radius bone, then entered his left thigh -- wound number seven -- from which it later fell out and was found in almost 'pristine' condition on a stretcher in a corridor of Parkland Hospital.

                                                            JFK entry wound, postmortem?

Despite a few detractors, like teacher Ken Rahn...
http://karws.gso.uri.edu/jfk/the_critics/vernon/vernon_responds/vernon_responds.html
who feebly attempted to deflect attention away, the issue that has never been explained to me is what prompted these gentlemen on the Warren Commission to embrace Specter's implausible explanation, when clear and incontrovertible evidence contradicted it? Does this book get us any closer to the truth?

When Jim Garrison, the former district attorney of Orleans, died of cancer on October 21,1992, his obituaries referenced an extraordinary event that took place in 1969.... his prosecution of Clay Shaw in New Orleans for conspiring to kill President John F. Kennedy, which gave him the distinction of being the only prosecutor ever to try someone for the cold-blooded murder. When it was subsequently announced in 1976 by CIA Director Richard Helms that Clay Shaw was indeed, a CIA operative and further, Warren Commission records would be sealed until 2028 to shield the truth, suspicion remained with me all these years. Thankfully, I have only another 15 years to go before these records are unsealed.

                                                                Vietnam War.

God willing, we will all finally be able to know the truth about why was President Kennedy killed? Who benefited? Who had
the power to cover it all up and if that tragedy directly led to the deaths of 58,000 service men and women, (including some Canadians) in a conflict Kennedy wanted America out of!

Looking back at events that unfolded over the post-Kennedy years, it was clear that the perpetrators, and supporters of this most heinous crime did not want to pay for their misdeed and I found myself questioning events ever since...hence my fascination with the printed word and the power of suggestion!

                                                          Caroline, Jackie and John Jr.

For visual proof of the kill shot from the grassy knoll in front of the parade route and seen around the world; debunking the 'magic bullet' theory, watch this video

and ask yourself....after being hit, did Kennedy really move back and to the left?

  1. Consider WWII as the spark to begin industrializing the world. The fire was set! The "burn" was mostly controlled. The populations have been controlled ever since. "Robots" today are men who have forgotten they are slaves. Wake up!
